

Huellas de la Memoria
The combined event, “Huellas de la Memoria,” serves as a poignant homage to families in search of missing persons in Mexico, featuring over 300 pairs of used shoes accompanied by engravings, photographs, and a timeline documenting cases of disappearance from 1969 to 2024, highlighting an ongoing humanitarian crisis. Concurrently, the exhibition honoring Germán List Arzubide celebrates his profound influence on Mexico’s cultural, ideological, social, and educational realms, showcasing nearly 300 pieces including works by renowned artists such as Diego Rivera and Aurora Reyes. In tandem with these exhibits, the “Memoria Luminosa. México Tenochtitlan” event in Mexico City’s Zócalo from July 11 to 27, 2025, commemorates the 700th anniversary of Tenochtitlan’s founding through a stunning videomapping display that narrates the city’s historical evolution.
