Bajo el signo de Saturno
In Mexico City, various art exhibitions address profound themes such as identity and time. The exhibition ‘Under the Sign of Saturn. Divination in Art’ at the National Museum of Art invites visitors to explore the influence of clairvoyance, spiritualism, astrology, and tarot in Mexican art through more than 200 works that highlight the connection between art and the esoteric universe. Simultaneously, ‘Nopalera en el Corazón’ presents an outdoor installation with 51 nopal sculptures, each one intervened by different artists, reflecting on Mexican identity and the country’s cultural richness. In the Labor gallery, the exhibition ‘OMEGA’ by artist Pablo Vargas Lugo presents works that delve into the complexity of time, while ‘The Rules of the Game’ displays over 100 pieces by psychiatric patients in confinement, reflecting their experiences and emotions. These exhibitions, open to the public, invite reflection on the perception of time and identity in contemporary society.
