Join us for a captivating series of events that delve into cultural preservation, migration, and artistic expression. The highlight is the exhibition “Tixinda: 40 years in defense of the car,” which celebrates the Mixteca community’s four-decade journey in preserving traditional dyeing techniques with the purple snail, symbolizing their rich cultural identity. Accompanying this is “Displacement by Alberto Castro Leñero,” a striking mural that articulates the theme of migration through dynamic visual storytelling. The theme of contemporary concerns is further explored in “The horizon always moves away,” inviting viewers to reflect on socio-political issues, echoing the thoughts of philosopher Giorgio Agamben on transcending boundaries. Additional artistic showcases including “Almarios, tales for the soul” by Ana López-Montes, plus events like “Urban Midwives” emphasizing the significance of midwifery, add depth to this program. Running until September 28, 2025, these exhibitions and events
