The “Arte y Cultura Coyoacán” festival, which will take place from June 16 to July 20, 2025, presents a diverse range of exhibitions that delve into critical themes of identity, memory, and artistic expression. Some notable highlights include “Under the Sign of Saturn. Divination in Art,” which explores the intersection of hermetic sciences and art, reflecting on the powerful influence of destiny symbolized by Saturn. This is complemented by “Traces of Memory,” a moving installation featuring over 300 pairs of used shoes from families of the disappeared in Mexico, along with engravings and photographs documenting disappearance cases from 1969 to 2024.

The festival also features “The Horizon Always Moves Away,” showcasing Impressionist works from the Dallas Museum of Art, and “Altered Territories,” which addresses themes of memory and migration. “Beyond Gender” focuses on transgender activism, while “They Design, 1965-2025” recognizes the significant
