Mexico top exporter among Pacific Alliance members

Mexico leads with 68% of exports by member countries of the Pacific Alliance, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Mexico. The alliance’s member countries represent 50% of all Latin American trade, according to the Secretariat of Commerce.

In the coming months the secretariat will submit the protocol that will allow the removal of duties on 92% of goods and services exported to alliance members.

The goal is to remove the duty on all products, with the exception of sugar, by 2030.
