Scuba divers in the waters off Puerto Vallarta came across a rare sight on a recent dive: a huge white jellyfish measuring about one meter in bell height.
Scuba diver and photographer Christian Hauser captured the animal on video near Majahuitas Bay.
In the video, fellow divers are seen swimming up to it, almost touching its tentacles.
According to Hauser, this type of jellyfish is rarely seen in that bay, reported Liveleak.
Jellyfish in size from one millimeter in bell height to more than two meters, with mouth parts and tentacles extending beyond those dimensions, according to information at Wikipedia.
