For this reason, Anne Frank’s words continue to motivate us to believe that always, despite adversity and difficulties, there will always be a ray of hope and the possibility of doing, changing and fighting, but, above all, continuing in this world with a committed soul and a clean heart. The story of Anne Frank represents that of tens of thousands of Jewish families who resisted Hitler’s hatred by hiding, but also that of thousands of committed beings who decided to step forward and put aside indifference to help others, even if it risked their future and their lives. Today, the Memory and Tolerance museum pays tribute to the victims of the Holocaust, to the survivors who share their stories so that the horror is not repeated, and to all those who chose to be protectors, so that the memory claims its share and the reflection of the genocide alerts us to the destructive power of hate speech and divisions that hurt our country and the world so much. Despite living in hiding and facing an uncertain future, Ana never lost her trust in humanity. She believed that no one needed to wait a single moment to start changing the world. It is precisely this inspiration that calls us to create the exhibition “Anne Frank. Notes of hope” and to receive in this venue so many young people eager to change the world. In the end, the future is in your hands. Linda Atach Zaga Director of Temporary Exhibitions Museum of Memory and Tolerance http://anafrank.expostemporalesmyt.org/
