Arte y Cultura Coyoacán invites families to explore a vibrant agenda of free cultural activities in the heart of Coyoacán, celebrating art, music, and tradition. This summer, from June 1 to 30, 2025, several artistic events and exhibitions will take place, including a tribute to Aleks Syntek’s 35-year career with a concert of his greatest hits. Concurrently, the series “Modos de ver e imaginación radical” features the dance performance “Nemian,” directed by Isabel Beteta, alongside various artistic works. The exhibition “Bajo el signo de Saturno” examines the influence of esoteric knowledge on visual culture, while “El ferrocarril de Monte Alto” narrates the historical significance of the Monte Alto railway during Mexico’s changing transportation landscape, highlighting its decline after it was deemed obsolete in 1940.
