The intention is for the viewer to consider their own concepts of gender and identity and challenge conventional notions of masculinity and femininity. The photo essay is part of an extensive multimedia project titled Mexicanxs LGBTTIQ+ of the 21st century, a proposal driven by the photographer with the objective of documenting the lives, struggles, and diversity of the LGBTIQ+ community in Mexico in order to combat the homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia that continues to prevail in our society.PosterCdMxPride Month
