Nopalera en el Corazón
In Mexico City, a collective celebration of art, culture, and music is taking place, which includes various exhibitions and events. The outdoor exhibition “Nopalera en el Corazón” showcases 51 sculptures intervened by different artists, exploring Mexican identity and the cultural and natural richness of the country. Simultaneously, “Muralismo Desbordado” at the Museum of Fine Arts commemorates the legacy of Jorge González Camarena through Isa Carrillo’s installation “Espectros,” which engages with his mural “Liberación.” The OFUNAM complements these activities with a musical program that merges contemporary music with classical compositions. Interactive activities such as “Código Frida – Street Escape” in Coyoacán and “Ventanas al Futuro” at Universum, along with the exhibition “La Guerrero en Boca de Todos,” pay tribute to the everyday stories of the residents of the Guerrero neighborhood, founded in 1874, highlighting the importance of their experiences.
