OPENING: Friday 4 July from 5 – 8pm The second annual “Animal Show” at Galeria Blue Moon, will be held from 4 July until 19 July. Galeria Blue Moon hours are 11 am to 2 pm, 3 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Members are Ri Anderson, Steve Ellis, Andrew Klein, Ray Herrera-Leguizamo, Debra Deutsch Oliver, Juan Pablo Rosales, Pablo Szmulewicz, and Henry Vermillion. “The Animal Show” at Galeria Blue Moon opens with a reception on Friday, July 4, from 5-8 pm. Thirty percent of all sales from the show benefit the Sociedad Protectora de Animales de San Miguel de Allende, the oldest animal protection group in San Miguel. The funds will be applied to the annual cost of feeding our resident animals and those in foster care. Sales will be by silent auction. The minimum price for each piece of animal art will be posted, but clients are encouraged to mark a higher bid on the art of their choice; the higher bidder is entitled to purchase the piece. We have been providing food, shelter, and care for unwanted and abandoned animals since 1980. We house an average of 100 animals.
