Madame Butterfly Ballet
The cultural programming includes three highlighted events:
The “Madame Butterfly Ballet,” directed and choreographed by Rodrigo González, fuses classical and contemporary ballet to narrate the tragic story of Cio-Cio San, known as Madama Butterfly, in Nagasaki at the beginning of the 20th century.
On the other hand, “Five Decades in Spiral,” presented by the MUAC, offers a retrospective of the artist Magali Lara, starting with contemporary murals created for the exhibition and ending with her earliest works from the 1980s and 1970s.
Finally, “The Horizon Always Moves Away” is an exhibition that groups together works that examine the concept of contemporaneity in art, proposing reflections on its meaning beyond temporal lines and its relationship with geopolitical and social contexts, with free entry on Sunday.
Together, these events offer a rich cultural proposal that encompasses dance, visual art, and critical reflection on the present.
