Cultural experiences in Mexico City: The Labor gallery presents “OMEGA”, the fourth solo exhibition by Pablo Vargas Lugo, which includes six works that explore the notion of time and its mechanisms. One highlight is an installation featuring an Omega clock that has accompanied astronauts and divers, along with collages inspired by the symbolism of Tibetan mandalas. This exhibition merges the last letter of the Greek alphabet, a symbol of the Apocalypse, with the search for meanings in the passage of time.
Simultaneously, the National Museum of Art (Munal) offers “Under the Sign of Saturn. Divination in Art”, an exhibition that examines the influence of clairvoyance, spiritualism, astrology, and tarot in over 200 works of Mexican art, inviting the public to explore the esoteric universe through these creations.
