The cultural events in 2025 present a vibrant celebration of women’s contributions to art, literature, and design, prominently featured in the Fiesta del Libro y la Rosa, organized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Colegio de San Ildefonso. A highlight is the exhibition “A Sky Without Borders: Rosario Castellanos – Unpublished Archive,” honoring the centennial of renowned author Rosario Castellanos with over a hundred personal artifacts, letters, and exclusive recordings available until August 24, 2025. Complementing this is the dance-tango performance “Behind Me, of Women and Tangos,” exploring the feminine narratives of literary icons like Yerma and Lady Macbeth. The exhibition “They Design, 1965 – 2025” celebrates the innovative contributions of 27 influential women in Mexican editorial design over the past six decades.

Additionally, other notable events enrich the festivities, including “Tixinda: 40 Years in Defense of the Purple
