The upcoming series of cultural initiatives celebrates the rich tapestry of Mexican art, design, and history through a diverse array of exhibitions and workshops. One poignant exhibition, “Huellas de la Memoria,” features over 300 pairs of used shoes placed by families searching for their missing loved ones, accompanied by engravings, photographs, and a timeline documenting cases of disappearance in Mexico from 1969 to 2024. This tribute highlights a pressing humanitarian issue while honoring those who seek their relatives.

Additionally, the exhibition dedicated to Germán List Arzubide showcases nearly 300 pieces, including artworks, photographs, marionettes, and manuscripts, emphasizing his profound impact on Mexico’s cultural and social development, along with notable works from artists such as Diego Rivera and Aurora Reyes. Concurrent workshops, including “Taller MIDE: Destellos del Edificio,” invite participants to construct decorative lamps while exploring historical architectural styles from the convent.
