Apapacho: entre instantes y personajes del mexicano
The exhibition “Apapacho: between moments and characters of the Mexican” by artist Jessica Álvarez presents almost 50 watercolors that celebrate everyday life and traditions of Mexico, with vibrant scenes such as rabbits buying sweet bread and axolotls in the subway. Simultaneously, “Discovering the world with your mouth, without getting pricked by thorns” invites to explore the link between food, the body, and identity, showing 42 works by 37 artists that address rituals and knowledge around food, highlighting healing practices and knowledge transmission. Both exhibitions offer a rich reflection on Mexican culture through visual art and gastronomy.
