Inspired by the work of the painter Francisco Goitia, the program intertwines danzón, zarabanda, tango, and contemporary sonorities with echoes of the baroque and Latin American tradition. About the artist: Moisés Acosta is a Mexican composer, conductor, and guitarist. He has studied composition with Rodrigo Lomán and Marvin Camacho, and guitar with renowned teachers such as Alfonso Moreno, Leo Brouwer, and Pablo Garibay. He has received training in orchestral conducting with Jooyong Ahn, Alfredo Ibarra, and José Arturo González, covering symphonic and chamber repertoire.
