Miguel Covarrubias. Una mirada sin fro…
The event “Miguel Covarrubias: A Vision Without Frontiers” is a groundbreaking exhibition that explores the diverse life and work of the innovative Mexican artist, Miguel Covarrubias, who crossed boundaries in various fields such as art, anthropology, theater, editorial design, illustration, and archaeology. With 453 pieces from 38 national and 13 international collections, this exhibition invites visitors to delve into Covarrubias’s sharp, empathetic, and stylish perspective on the world.
Additionally, the “Bipolar Collage” workshop at the Museo del Estanquillo, held on selected dates in July, offers participants the chance to create a personalized medium-sized garment using fabric scraps and stencils. This free, hands-on activity is open to the general public and can accommodate up to 25 people, fostering creativity and individual expression in a communal environment. Participants will meet on the museum’s third floor for this engaging and artistic experience.
