Risa & Tonic
The combination of cultural events in Mexico offers a rich exploration of history, emotion, and contemporary artistic practice. ‘Risa & Tonic’ features four comedians and a host each week, along with surprise guests, in a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy original comedy and drinks. Simultaneously, ‘Liminalidades epífitas’ by Thomas Glassford transforms public spaces with a monumental installation that evokes marine and prehistoric landscapes, touching on botanical and biological themes. Complementing this, ‘Risas de a metro’ celebrates the emotional connection with the Metro stations of CDMX and the nostalgia they evoke. Additionally, the workshop ‘Affective Movements’ focuses on the emotional dimension of movement in dance, promoting methodologies based on vulnerability and listening. Finally, ‘Addressing history on the scene’ takes a journey through the trajectory of Juliana Faesler and Clarissa Malheiros at La Máquina de Teatro, connecting Mexico’s history with present life.
