Abraham Lincoln va al teatro
On Good Friday of 1865, John Wilkes Booth, an actor, assassinates President Abraham Lincoln who was attending a theater performance. A great paradox: a president killed by an actor, who through this gesture will become an unforgettable being, a character. A director, feared and admired by his guild, is inspired by this historical event to propose a farce that illustrates the sickly power relationships and the schizophrenia of the United States. He hires a duo of actors whom he offers to play the famous duo of Laurel and Hardy to stage this assassination. And the director reserves the role of the wax statue of Lincoln.
