Kicking off with the inauguration on June 28 at 18:00 hrs, the series features “Almarios, cuentos para el alma,” showcasing the artistic interpretations of Ana López-Montes through color and abstraction in her vibrant collection of decorated vessels. Another notable exhibition, “Mujer Huipil. Urdimbres y Puntadas,” highlights the importance of huipil weaving, featuring over 100 traditional garments from 40 indigenous communities and celebrating the women who preserve this essential textile art.
