

Bajo el signo de Saturno
The Munal and Labor gallery present two fascinating exhibitions: “Under the Sign of Saturn. Divination in Art” and “OMEGA” by Pablo Vargas Lugo. The first invites visitors to discover the influence of clairvoyance, spiritualism, astrology, and tarot in Mexican art through more than 200 works that highlight the link between document and artwork, exploring the esoteric universe through creativity. On the other hand, “OMEGA,” Vargas Lugo’s fourth solo show, presents six works that address the complexity of time, using symbolism such as clocks and collages that evoke Tibetan mandalas, in a dialogue with the philosophy of time. Additionally, the exhibition “The Rules of the Game,” part of the Labor gallery, brings together over 100 artistic pieces created by patients in confinement, reflecting their experiences through works ranging from boxes that reveal hidden worlds to broken mirrors and frozen hourglasses.
