Bajo el signo de Saturno
Visit the fascinating exhibitions at the National Museum of Art (Munal) and the Palace of Fine Arts Museum, starting with “Under the Sign of Saturn: Divination in Art,” which explores the influence of clairvoyance, spiritualism, astrology, and tarot in Mexican art through more than 200 works. This exhibition invites the public to connect with the esoteric universe through artistic creations. Accompanying this experience, the work “Epiphytic Liminalities” by Thomas Glassford, part of the Botanical Visions program, presents a monumental installation that evokes the fragility and serenity of a submerged floral landscape, inspired by botany and astronomy. On the other hand, the Palace of Fine Arts Museum pays tribute to the painter Jorge González Camarena with “The Unfinished Utopia,” an exhibition that commemorates his legacy and reflects on the evolution of Mexican muralism on the 45th anniversary of his death. Don’t miss it!
