The exhibition “Under the sign of Saturn. Divination in art” offers a journey through the visual history of hermetic and divinatory sciences, highlighting the impact of esoteric knowledge on the creative thinking of various generations of artists. At the same time, “Tixinda: 40 years in defense of the purple snail” presents the struggle of the Mixtec community of Pinotepa de Don Luis, Oaxaca, to preserve their ancestral dye and textile knowledge. Complementing these exhibits, “A sky without borders. Rosario Castellanos: unpublished archive” celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of this iconic literary figure, with over a hundred pieces that offer a comprehensive view of her life and legacy. These exhibitions, organized by the Directorate of Literature and Reading Promotion of UNAM and the Colegio de San Ildefonso, will be available until August 24, 2025, from 11:00 to 17:30 hours.
