De mole, de chile y de manteca: obras únicas de Fabián Giles
The recent series of art exhibitions in Mexico City highlights the cultural and emotional richness of the country. The vibrant exhibition “De mole, de chile y de manteca” by artist Fabián Giles presents unique collages that blend pop art, political humor, and sensuality, exploring the contradictions of the human experience through vibrant colors and bold textures. In turn, “Nopalera en el Corazón” showcases 51 sculptures in the shape of a prickly pear, intervening in Mexican identity and indigenous peoples. Complementing these proposals, “Las Reglas del Juego” includes over 100 pieces by psychiatric patients in confinement, revealing hidden worlds through their art. Finally, “Ciudades invisibles,” a collective exhibition featuring works by Georgina Bringas, Ilán Lieberman, Mario Núñez, and Roberto Turnbull, expands the dialogue on the human condition and the perception of reality. Together, these exhibitions invite deep reflection on the diversity and complexity of art in Mexico.
