Desplazamiento is a mural composed of five parts. The central theme is migration and the experience of displaced people, represented through human figures created with expressive brush strokes, brush, spatula, and ruler, made with pigmented plastic resin on linen. The piece fuses abstract and figurative elements, generating a hybrid visual language, with a geometric dimension and a linear network of random directions crossing the arches of the building’s architecture, overlapping the painting like a layer that suggests routes, trajectories, or possible fractures, reinforcing the notion of displacement and transience.
