Join us for a series of enriching events and exhibitions celebrating cultural identity, artistic expression, and contemporary themes. “Doble Sentido. Doble Estilo” offers hands-on workshops on July 10, 11, 24, and 25, where participants can create mixed media pieces inspired by the Siameses Company, free of charge in a welcoming environment for 25 attendees. Complementing this is the exhibition “Mujer Huipil. Urdimbres y Puntadas,” showcasing over 100 traditional huipil garments from 40 indigenous communities, honoring the women who preserve this vital textile art and its cultural significance.
Additionally, “El horizonte siempre se aleja” presents artworks exploring contemporary existence through the lens of philosopher Giorgio Agamben, while the “Círculo de Bordado,” led by Andrea Jimenez and Alethia Gasca, invites communal embroidery exploration.
