DRINKY FEST 2025
Join us for the exciting return of DRINKY FEST 2025, the third edition of Mexico City’s Festival of Theatre in Cafes, Restaurants, and Bars. This year’s festival will feature 32 performances spread across seven venues in the vibrant neighborhoods of Coyoacán, Roma, Nápoles, and Juárez. Founded by Edgar Uscanga, the festival aims to integrate theatre into everyday life, emphasizing that art and wine are accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford luxury.
In conjunction with the festival, don’t miss the individual exhibition “OMEGA” by Pablo Vargas Lugo at the Labor gallery. This showcase includes six thought-provoking artworks that explore the intricate concepts of time, its measurement, and the human desire to evade its relentless passage. Highlighting a clock that journeyed with astronauts to the Moon, along with collages inspired by Tibetan mandalas, Vargas Lugo’s work invites contemplation on the intersection of cultural symbols and our shared fascination with time’s end.
Experience the magic of theatre and art together at these remarkable events, where stories come alive in cherished community spaces, and reflections on time invite deeper understanding. Visit the OMEGA exhibition Monday, Tuesday, or by appointment on Fridays and Saturdays.
