The exhibition is organized into four thematic cores which are: Everyday Events; Liminal Zone; Intimate Interior Scenes and Exterior Landscapes. Therefore, audiences will get to know Laville’s graphic work, as well as the themes she addressed, the workshops she worked in, and the techniques she developed throughout her career. The title An Immaterial World refers to the conceptualization of the work that Joy Laville projected in her pieces, that is, a personal world that is part of her imagination, inspired by everyday life motifs that resonated with her, which she developed and captured in a very intimate way, highlighting her lyricism with emotions.
