De mole, de chile y de manteca: obras únicas de Fabián Giles
The City of Mexico is enriched by two outstanding events that celebrate Mexican culture and art. The vibrant exhibition “Of Mole, Chili, and Lard” by artist Fabián Giles, who presents his first solo show, offers a visual feast through collages that blend pop art, political humor, and sensuality. Each work explores the contradictions of the human experience, using vibrant colors and overlapping textures to challenge power structures and celebrate identity. On the other hand, “Nopalera in the Heart” showcases 51 nopal sculptures intervened by various artists, addressing themes of Mexican identity and the cultural richness of the country. Both events are complemented by the San Ángel Flower Fair 2025, which, under the motto “Flowers of Mexico: colors that tell stories,” offers a sensory experience full of colors and aromas for nine days. Together, these events are an essential celebration of Mexico’s cultural heritage.
