The official inauguration will take place on Monday, June 2 at noon, in the central courtyard of the Nigromante, with an event that will bring together municipal and cultural authorities, writers, artists and the general public. From that moment on, a diverse program will be deployed that unites editorial presentations, creative workshops, concerts and activities for all ages. That same day, at 1:30 p.m., the author Pedro Salvador will present his work Los cuerpos escritos, a poetic exploration of the body, memory and the word. Later, at 4:00 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the origami workshop given by Arenea Tapia, or attend the presentation of the book El Tesoro de L’Ancresse, by Marco Suárez del Real, a novel that intertwines mystery and adventure. The activities continue throughout the week. On Tuesday, June 3 from 10:30 a.m., editions designed for children will be presented: Don Quixote for children and Popol Wuj, in adapted versions that seek to bring these classics closer to new generations. One of the great attractions of this fair will be the presence of various national and independent publishers, which will exhibit a wide selection of books of different literary genres: from contemporary narrative and poetry, to children’s literature, essays, graphic novels and educational titles. This offer will allow visitors to discover new voices and reconnect with writings by established authors, in a space conducive to dialogue between readers and creators, such as El Nigromante, which belongs to Bellas Artes. During the following days, the fair will offer illustration workshops, comic creation, recreational activities, readings aloud, book presentations and concerts, all framed in a festive and cultural atmosphere that invites you to inhabit books from multiple forms of expression.
