The event “Gabriel Orozco: Politécnico Nacional” presents a diverse collection of around 300 works by the artist, showcasing a blend of seemingly contradictory practices, including small sculptures, complex installations, photography, drawing, painting, and assemblages. This exhibition serves as a pivotal moment for evaluating Orozco’s artistic trajectory. Additionally, the “Museo MIDE: Recorrido Histórico” offers a historical exploration of the Antiguo Convento de Betlemitas, which has transitioned through various functions such as a convent, school, and hospital, now serving as a museum. Guided tours are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM, accommodating up to 35 participants for a 60-minute experience in the museum’s main courtyard.
