Join us for a culturally enriching experience from May 5 to June 8, 2025, featuring three significant exhibitions within the picturesque setting of Chapultepec. The event includes “The horizon always moves away,” which showcases contemporary artworks reflecting on our geopolitical and social contexts through the lens of philosopher Giorgio Agamben; “They design, 1965 – 2025,” highlighting the contributions of 27 influential women in Mexican editorial design over the past six decades; and “Urban Midwives, between Heritage and C…,” which critically examines the cultural significance of midwives in Mesoamerican society, challenging traditional medical narratives and biases. Complementing the exhibitions are creative workshops at MIDE, such as “MIDE Workshop: Mexican Coin,” where participants can design their own Mexican coins, and “MIDE Workshop: Building Sparkles,” focused on crafting lamps inspired by historical decorative styles.
