The event “Madame Butterfly Ballet”, directed by Rodrigo González, presents a fusion of classical and contemporary ballet to narrate the tragic story of Cio-Cio San, known as Madama Butterfly, in Nagasaki at the beginning of the 20th century. This is complemented by the exhibition “A Descent into Paradise” by artist Kader Attia at the MUAC, which invites reflection on collective memory through installations that transform historical scars into symbols of resistance, along with the work “The Networks of Dreams” by María José Lavín at UNAM, which explores the connection between dream and death. Additionally, at the Munal, the exhibition “Under the Sign of Saturn” examines the esoteric influence on Mexican art through more than 200 works.
