The Catedral Metropolitana is preparing for a special jubilee day to honor and venerate Nuestra Señora de Zapopan during the Misa Mensual. In addition, the Colegio de San Ildefonso invites participants to the workshop “Computación Física para Fines Creativos,” where fundamentals of digital electronics and physical computing will be explored at the intersection of art, design, technology, and cultural knowledge. This workshop will be led by Cecilia Sánchez Nava on select Wednesdays from May to June 2025 and is open to creatives with no prior knowledge required. A fee applies, with discounts for students and educators. Participants must bring a personal computer with a USB port. Moreover, the XVII Feria Regional del Conejo will showcase the region’s gastronomy, culture, and crafts, celebrating local traditions. Lastly, the exhibition “Mujer Huipil. Urdimbres y Puntadas” promotes the significance of the huipil as an identity garment of Indigenous peoples, showcasing over 100 traditional outfits from 40 different Indigenous communities, emphasizing women’s roles in preserving this textile art, displayed at the Museo Nacional de Culturas Populares.
