Overflowing Muralism will have a third edition at Bellas Artes!
In the context of the 45th anniversary of the death of Jorge González Camarena, the project joins the exhibition “Jorge González Camarena. The Unfinished Utopia.” Jalisco artist Isa Carrillo created “Specters” specifically for the Museum, inspired by the mural “Liberation” (1963). This installation explores aesthetic interpretations of the mural through archives, embroidery, and textiles, thus generating an innovative narrative in dialogue with the original work.
