Experience a vibrant exploration of Mexican heritage through a series of interconnected events running from May 5 to June 8, 2025, at the Galería Abierta Grutas in Chapultepec Park. Highlights include the exhibition “Mujer Huipil. Urdimbres y Puntadas,” showcasing over 100 traditional huipil garments from 40 indigenous communities, and celebrating the essential roles of women in preserving textile arts and the cultural significance of midwifery. Complementing this, the “Taller MIDE: Moneda Mexicana” invites participants to engage in a creative workshop where they can explore Mexican identity through currency design, crafting their own collection.

Additionally, visitors can join “Museo MIDE: Recorrido Histórico” for a historical tour of the Antiguo Convento de Betlemitas, which has transitioned from a convent to a school, hospital, and now a museum. Tours run on Fridays
