In Mexico City, several art exhibitions are taking place that celebrate Mexican culture and its diversity. ‘Nopalera en el Corazón’ is an outdoor exhibition featuring 51 sculptures shaped like nopales, intervened by different artists and collectives, addressing themes of national identity and the cultural and natural richness of the country. On the other hand, ‘Under the Sign of Saturn. Divination in Art’ at the Munal explores the influence of esotericism in Mexican art through over 200 works that invite the public to discover their connection with clairvoyance, spiritualism, and astrology. Likewise, the collective exhibition ‘Invisible Cities’ brings together works from various artists, while ‘Apapacho: between moments and characters of the Mexican’ by Jessica Álvarez presents nearly 50 watercolors depicting everyday life and traditions of Mexico, offering a collage of endearing scenes like rabbits in bakeries and axolotls in the metro.
