In Mexico City, several exhibitions were inaugurated that offer rich artistic explorations with an emphasis on identity and time. The outdoor exhibition “Nopalera en el Corazón” presents 51 sculptures in the shape of a cactus paddle, each one intervened by different artists and collectives, addressing themes related to Mexican identity, indigenous peoples, and the cultural and natural richness of the country.

In the Labor gallery, the exhibition “OMEGA” by artist Pablo Vargas Lugo stands out with six works that explore the complexity of time, using symbols such as an astronaut’s clock and collages inspired by Tibetan mandalas. Additionally, “Las Reglas del Juego” presents over 100 pieces created by psychiatric patients in confinement, reflecting their experiences through objects like cardboard boxes and broken mirrors. Both exhibitions invite reflection on the perception of time and identity, and are open to the public at specific times.
