From May to July 2025, Mexico City will host a vibrant array of cultural events at the Open Gallery Grutas de las Rejas del Bosque de Chapultepec, emphasizing themes of identity, heritage, and artistic expression. Highlights include the exhibition “Ellas diseñan, 1965-2025,” celebrating the contributions of 27 influential women in editorial design over six decades. Concurrently, the double exhibition “Parteras Urbanas, entre Patrimonio y Costumbres” and “Bajo el signo de Saturno” will explore the sacred role of midwives in Mesoamerican culture against contemporary biomedical perspectives, as well as the influence of esoteric practices on artistic creativity.

Additionally, “Más allá del género,” a photo essay by Rogelio Pereda, will showcase the testimonies of over 10 transgender activists, challenging traditional concepts of gender and identity as part of the multimedia project “Mexicanxs LGBTTIQ+ del
