In 2025, Mexico City will witness a series of notable cultural events that blend art, literature, and nature. Among them is “Prendida de las lámparas,” a moving dramatic work at UNAM that pays tribute to Rosario Castellanos, one of the most relevant figures in Mexican literature. This work intertwines Castellanos’ poems with texts by Elena Guiochins, creating a narrative that celebrates her legacy.

Simultaneously, the Labor gallery will host “OMEGA,” the fourth solo exhibition by Pablo Vargas Lugo, featuring six works that explore time and its perception, including an installation with a clock that has been on the Moon and collages inspired by Tibetan mandalas.

Additionally, the Firefly Turitour will take visitors to explore the magic of Tlaxcala, starting in Tlaxco with a visit to the Wood Museum and a workshop on artisanal cheeses, followed by the spectacular sighting of fireflies in the Nanac
