Join us for a unique event that combines the exploration of Mexican identity through currency and traditional textile art. The “Taller MIDE: Moneda Mexicana” invites participants to a creative workshop where they can identify the design elements of our coins and craft their own collection. This workshop takes place from Tuesday to Sunday at 11:30 AM in the Patio Principal, accommodating up to 15 people for a 30-minute session.

In parallel, experience the exhibition “Mujer Huipil. Urdimbres y Puntadas,” which runs from May 5 to June 8, 2025, at the Galería Abierta Grutas in Chapultepec Park, open 24/7. This exhibition showcases over 100 traditional huipil garments from 40 indigenous communities, celebrating women’s roles in preserving this important textile art. It also addresses the significance of midwifery in Mesoamerican culture, delving into its legacy and the challenges faced in contemporary society. Together, these events highlight the rich tapestry of Mexican heritage, weaving together the themes of currency design and cultural identity.
