The upcoming cultural series at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) features a diverse range of enriching events that celebrate artistic expression and social themes.
At the core of this series is the exhibition “A Sky Without Borders. Rosario Castellanos: unpublished archive,” which commemorates the centenary of the influential writer’s birth and the 50th anniversary of her passing. This exhibition presents over 100 personal items, including letters, personal belongings, photographs, and previously unreleased recordings, offering a comprehensive look at Castellanos’s literary legacy, personal world, and profound influence.
Additionally, the “Embroidery Circle” workshops will take place every Thursday in July 2025 at FARO Indios Verdes, where participants can learn new embroidery techniques in a supportive community environment guided by artists Andrea Jimenez and Alethia Gasca.
