The Book and Rose Festival 2025 at the Colegio de San Ildefonso presents a variety of exhibitions that celebrate creativity and the female legacy in Mexico. Among them, “They design, 1965 – 2025” highlights the work of 27 key women in Mexican editorial design, spanning over six decades of significant contributions, while “The Lionesses” narrates the stories of five women who overcome adversities and empower others to forge their destiny. Additionally, “A sky without borders”, in homage to the centenary of Rosario Castellanos, presents an unpublished archive that examines her life and legacy. Other exhibitions such as “The horizon always moves away” address contemporary concerns of artists facing social and geopolitical challenges, “Tim Burton. The Labyrinth” offers an immersive experience in his dark fantasy universe, and “Urban Midwives” highlights the relevance of these figures in Mesoamerica. Together, these exhibitions offer a deep reflection on the cultural and artistic history of Mexico.
