The upcoming cultural series at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) features a variety of enriching events celebrating artistic expression and social themes, running until August 24, 2025. Highlights include the exhibition “A Sky Without Borders. Rosario Castellanos: unpublished archive,” honoring the centenary of the influential writer with over 100 personal items illustrating her literary legacy. Complementing this is “Thirsty,” a narrative that delves into the mysterious deaths of two young people, exploring themes of love, loss, and memory.

Additional workshops include “Embroidery Circle,” where participants learn modern embroidery techniques. Exhibitions such as “Mujer Huipil. Warps and Stitches” pay tribute to indigenous women who preserve textile art, displaying over 100 garments that showcase the cultural significance of the huipil. “Traces of Memory” addresses the human crisis of disappearances in Mexico, while a retrospective on Germán List Arzubide explores women
