The Professor Jesús Castro Agúndez Cultural Center is a landmark arts complex in downtown La Paz, located on Antonio Navarro s/n, between Altamirano and Héroes de la Independencia, C.P. 23000, Baja California Sur. Its main venue, the Teatro de la Ciudad, is a proscenium theater with tiered seating, professional stage and technical equipment that hosts concerts, theater, dance, film screenings, and major festivals, while the surrounding galleries, library, and historical archive make the center a cultural hub for exhibitions, lectures, and community programs throughout the year.
