A Night of Bach, Vivaldi and Grieg with San Miguel’s Own Symphony Orchestra
The Orquesta Sinfónica de San Miguel de Allende (OSMA) presents its March 2026 concert on Wednesday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Teatro Ángela Peralta, Mesones 82, Centro, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. Under the artistic direction of Víctor Hugo Ramos Fonseca, the evening features violinist Héctor Hernández and pianist Javier García Lascurain as soloists, with a program that spans three centuries of classical music: Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, selections from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor. Tickets are available at the Teatro Ángela Peralta box office, priced at 600 pesos for orchestra seats (luneta) and 150 pesos for boxes and gallery.
Founded in 2026, OSMA is San Miguel de Allende’s first professional symphony orchestra — a landmark addition to the city’s already vibrant cultural scene and a source of genuine civic pride. For residents and visitors alike, this concert offers a rare opportunity to hear a full symphony orchestra perform a program of beloved classical masterworks in one of Mexico’s most beautiful colonial theaters, making it one of the most significant cultural outings available in the Bajío this spring.
