Art Walk and Workshops in the Plaza (Currently on Thursdays) | Jardín de Arte Los Cabos
Every week, Plaza Antonio Mijares in San José del Cabo turns into an open‑air gallery as Jardín de Arte Los Cabos brings together dozens of local artists to exhibit, paint and offer hands‑on workshops for all ages. The Thursday art walk runs year‑round and is fully family‑friendly, inviting residents, visitors and hotel‑zone guests to wander the historic square, talk directly with creators and discover pieces that range from painting and sculpture to crafts rooted in Baja’s traditions.
In addition to the weekly walk, the program includes “Sábados de Xpresarte,” Saturday sessions led by guest artists that introduce children and youth to creative techniques in a relaxed, free public setting. Together, these initiatives have turned Plaza Mijares into a living classroom and cultural hub, where San José’s artistic community and curious travelers meet face‑to‑face in one of Los Cabos’ most emblematic squares.
