Baila la Plaza — Free Outdoor Dancing Comes to Los Cabos This March
The Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes de Los Cabos is turning the city’s public squares into dance floors this March with Baila la Plaza — a free, recurring outdoor dance program that invites everyone to come as they are and dance however they like. The motto says it all: the plaza belongs to those who dance in it. With live music provided in collaboration with a local band, these open-air evenings are a joyful, welcoming celebration of community and movement, no experience or registration required.
The March program spans four evenings across three different locations throughout the Los Cabos region, all starting at 6:00 p.m. and all completely free:

Venue
Plaza José Antonio Mijares, also known as Plaza Mijares or the main square, is the historic heart of San José del Cabo, located on Boulevard Antonio Mijares in the Centro district and framed by City Hall, San José Church, and the Casa de la Cultura. This tree‑lined, open‑air plaza features a central kiosk, gardens, an outdoor amphitheater, and ample seating, serving as a vibrant venue for concerts, festivals, the Thursday night Art Walk, and community celebrations where locals and visitors gather amid restaurants, galleries, and colonial architecture.
