Moments of the Infinite — A Classical Guitar Journey with Dúo Nigromante
On Tuesday, March 17th at 5:30 p.m., Sala Quetzal at San Miguel de Allende’s Biblioteca Pública becomes the setting for Momentos del Infinito, an elegant and wide-ranging classical guitar concert performed by Dúo Nigromante — a duo formed in 2022 by local guitarists Antonio Romero García and Nun Kether Arredondo Granados. In a single program, they weave together centuries of music, moving from the structured beauty of Baroque masters like Antonio Vivaldi to the passion of Enrique Granados, the melancholy tango of Astor Piazzolla, and the bold contemporary voice of Julio César Oliva, alongside a selection of solo pieces that showcase the full expressive range of the guitar.
What makes Dúo Nigromante special is precisely this ability to hold contrasting worlds in the same breath — order and elegance alongside raw expressiveness, tradition alongside the unexpected. Tickets are a $220 peso donation to La Biblioteca Pública, one of San Miguel’s most beloved cultural institutions, making this an evening that is as meaningful as it is beautiful.
